Don't forget you've got a positive ground system on the Super A, (mine ran fine for 15 years hooked up Neg. ground, I didn't know the difference!)If I remember right, I had to reverse the wires on the amp meter to make it look like it was charging correctly. I've since restored it and made a new wiring harness & it's correct now.......DDG
