So by semi mount you mean that the plow has two arms that snap into the lift arms on the tractor. Then you have either a mechanical or hydraulic lift assist system to put down pressure on the tail wheel of the plow to help support the plow for transport. You are right about the Fast Hitch not being fast. I had to back my plow against a tree to get the lift arms to snap in and chain it to the tree when unhitching. But it was a good plow model 514? 4-16"s steveormary
