retired: In the parts book I have 535, 540, 550 and 560 all show the diagnol box beam across the top. You do have a point though as I remember a neighbor having a 540 without the diagnol box beam. My own plow was a 510, they were a newer version and frame was somewhat different. To look at the 535, 540, 550 and 560 in parts book they all look very much alike with bottoms added or deleted at front. Like you I rely on a daughter to do these scanning jobs. My daughter and husband are away on a 3 week holliday, thus I am more or less grounded when it comes to new items on file.
