If you can not find a new lever, you might try drilling out the old 'bushing' and pressing in a new sleeve to improve the fit on the pin. If the lever is slipping and ruining the tooth, straightening the lever will solve the problem. It appears that the heel on the short side and the tooth should be the only parts of the lever that touch the cap.
