JLE If I remember right they have a relief valve for forward and one for reverse they are pilot operated valves which means they build pressure as needed until they get to the set point something like 6000 PSI so I could see one working and one not If it got some dirt in it maybe can start to build pressure, but has to be in reverse circuit.
