there are many motor,s not internily balenced,351-400 ford , 400 chevy some big block chevies,and i think all 302,s from 1984 on are externily balanced,i balnce all my M,s and H,s it,s a good spent 60.00 most of all the old motor,s were very heavy on the inside ,wen they got to the 300-400 they started to lighten them up slipper piston,s and sutch.look at the diffrence between the C and the 200 they started turning them up.i have a 1939 M i pull that i run between 3500-4000.in the open classes.
