my p/s pump leaked around the top seal..turned out to be o rings needed to be replaced..(dryed out from sitting) my father in law gave me my 240 and he had it for 10 years and never knew it had power steering: he told me if i ever got it running to beware it steers terrible...well it took me a couple months, and a lot of help from this site to figure out it too had power steering...now i've got it running decent, and use the tractor a lot...not bad for a tractor that pretty much sat in the weeds since roughly early 70's....ih must have made the motor bulletproof back then...
