here is an update. had to get a new starter button, broke the one that was on trying to get the connections off of it. had fried them a little using a 12 volt battery. put new starter button on, new connections on, cleaned off all the ends to make sure of a good connection. took off the plugs and put some WD-40 in it and let it sit. went out the next day and was able to get it to turn over. have been able to several times since, but it did not start. will a 6 volt system turn over slower than a 12 volt? because it does turn over slower than my other H. if so, than it may just not be getting gas to get a spark because it didn't even show signs of firing. was just turning over. any thoughts?
