Hi Folks: This is a IH newcomers question so please ignore my ignorance in these matters. I have a Ford 8N but know little about Farmalls. It is posted on this board that the W4 is the standard tread version of the Model H. Other than that I could not find too much information on the W4. It appears from looking at parts catalogs that many of the parts (especially engine parts) interchange between these models (same engine?). Some other parts do as well. However there are many parts listed for the H where there is no listing for the W4. So here are my questions. 1. What is the background / history / relationship between the W4 and the H? 2. Do most H parts fit the W4? If not, what is the status of parts availability for the W4? 3. What are the pros / cons / opinions of the W4 as held by Farmall owners? Thanks in advance for your help.
