DJ I would have to disagree with the cowman I have cverhauled more engines than I could count. If you have to jurk them to start them they are to tight. It is trun that some of the SM, SMTA, 400, 450's turned over hard but most will start on the first cylinder up. Where I had the most problem was the guy did not want to spend money for go battery and cables and found the best thing for cables was clean and dry. Had to tun up an M one time the guy said don't touch the battery because it is ok,,, you said it the battery looked good but the ascide under the grease he had eat the grease untill I showed him what was going on he would never believe it.
