hi paul, go to a large excavating contractor, and ask for the old cutting edges off a roadgrader, like a cat 120 or 140, they work great, and can be bolted or welded to the bottom of your bucket[ you may need to shorten them to fit], so you will need access to a good cutting torch , [these are serious steel] the ones off a large front end loader may also work but i havent tried them ericlb
