Like Michael said, you need the room to work on it. I think it's a good idea to replace the seal above that (the input shaft to the transmission) while you have the lift-all removed. I just use a floor jack with a block of wood and lower the lift-all. A long pair of bolts screwed into the tractor through the liftall will hold the lift-all in place when removing the wood block so the lift-all can be completely lowered on the floor jack. Clear as mud!!?? Kind of hard to explain but works well. Bob
