If you can use secondary roads,(no freeways) you could rent one of those "front-end car carrier trailers..strap down the front end and tow it back...assuming the tranny is ok and the oil levels are ok in the rear assembly...it would be kinda slow...but it worked for me ( course I only had to go 5 miles!)
