well on my 460 there is 3 valve that set right in front of the shifter,you can put a 9/16 wrench on them and turnlike 1/4 turn if i remember right this is how to change it to float,but as for which one to turn i can't help ya there.

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
