If you tinnk this pin will cause trouble later, now is the time to fix it. You should be able to remove it with a drift and hammer. If you can't find a replacement, weld the hole up and re-drill after letting it air cool. The liftall on my '47 H had a rubber seal in the casting for the control shaft. You have to take the pump out of the housing and loosen the clamp screw on the actuator bellcrank to remove the shaft. The counterbore for the seal will be evident when you remove the shaft. If CIH doesn't have the part, a bearing retailer can sell you a seal that will press into the housing. You have to give them the counterbore ID, shaft OD, and the depth of the counterbore.
