Hi Fred, That S/N is for a 1958 tractor. S/N 501-2406 were made in 1958. I would contact the Corps of Engineers for help to see if they still have records for that tractor. Did you buy it from a government sale or know where it was sold? That AF might suggest Air Force. It probably was purchased on a government contract that specified certain modifications. After all these years that may be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Hal
