The cast in number (which is 6342DH) is the block part number. The engine number should have a prefix FABM. I will guess you just missed the M and the number part is 138473, which means it was originally installed in tractor serail FAB138473. That would be 1945. The cast in 9.9.O is a date code for Sept 9,1945. Look at other major castings. If most have dates fairly near 9.9.O, the engine is probably still in the original tractor.
