I'll make a meaningless and totally unscientific comparison just for kicks. Nobody here except Allen is a scientist, far as I can tell. Take a modern automobile making 20 miles/galllon, 60 miles/hr, say 3 gallons per hr. Older/larger automobile might have gotten as low as 10 miles/gallon on a bad tune, 60 miles/hr, 6 gallons/hr. These tractors don't seem to be gas hogs, they're just getting a lot of hard work done dang it, more than these cars are!
