Thats a pretty good analogy.Plowing snow with my V8 Ford takes around 5-8 gallons per hour.Of course thats with a V8 of 351 cubic inches/4 barrel carb /over 5000 lb truck as opposed to a C169 4 cylinder with a 1-1/4" carb,and over 4000 lbs.So either the tractors get terrible mileage or the truck gets pretty good! lol I guess its all reletive....conditions are never identical.
