Is your cam too far gone to regrind ? The one from the H had a few thousandths worn off the lobes. It was reground from .202" lift to .240" and I had no problems with getting the valves adjusted. It has not run for 60 years yet, so I can not vouch for durability. Lifters can be refaced also, if they are not too worn.
