It will be a little work but put the engine from your M in the SMTA. use the bigger clutch from the SMTA I suppose you'll have to change the flywheel too. But on the other hand if you can pick up the SMTA that reasonable it might be worth fixing if the block is good. you could sell your M to defray the cost.
