Hi Eric, Instead of going to all that work redoing your engine maybe you should look around for the German 310 cid engine by Neuss, I think it was used in the 706. Neuss also made a 358 cid engine used in some IH tractors and was rated at 125 HP. This engine was used in Hough/IH loaders too. I know it was used in the 1255 and the 1255XL tractors, not sure if they were sold in the US. They had a 1455 and a 1455XL that used a 402cid engine rated at 145hp too. You would have power to spare. I see sleeve and piston kits available on here for the 310 engine too. Hal
