I have checked several brands of "10 ply radial tires" lately and all are 4 ply tread and 2 ply sidewall with a load range E and 3042 pound load capacity at 80 psi cold. Dealers tell me they are 10 ply rated and more plies would cause the tire to run hot to the point of blowing out. Look at the writting on your trailor tires and tell us what you are using for good service on long trips. I would like a heaver tire but also want it to run cool on long trips loaded.
