Lots of people have heard lots of things. Doesn't mean they're true. The only person with ANY authoratative information on the subject says ONE Stage III Super H (SHTA) prototype was made, and was destroyed after testing was completed. Everything else is unfounded rumor and conjecture. Who are you going to believe, the guy who spent countless hours researching in the IH archives, or some old farmer repeating a rumor? Of course it's possible to build a SHDTA. You take a 350 Diesel, rip the hood and console off, and replace it with Stage II Super H hood, gas tank, and steering post. Good luck finding a 350 diesel. If you do, you'll pay so much for it, you won't want to rip it apart unless you have more money than brains. Before I found this site, I had planned on doing a SHTA myself. Now, I think I'll just restore my Stage II Super H.
