The rocker arms that I had refurbished by my machine shop were those off a B. I forget the exact construction. The tips that contacted the valves were quite worn. The machinist just dressed these tips by hand on a shop belt sander. Remember, these are not high speed engines or extremely strong valve springs. The diameters on the rockers were OK. Most of the wear was on the shafts. I replaced the shafts with new. How about an idea as dumb as this one. The work would be done at a machine shop. Ream the existing bushings the minimum amount to clean up. Build up or make new shafts to meet that new rocker diameter. IH wants quite a few $$ for new shafts. Put that money toward the shaft work above.
