Lee, yes I could do that -- I realize it isn't a 9000 rpm NASCAR engine, but how critical is the factory curvature on the tips, and how does the machinest know what to do, with no specs? A belt sander will smooth them up, but I have no two even close to each other. The head will have new or reground valves, whatever the machinest wants to do, seems like an improper angle on the rocker tips will also garf up the valve stem ends -- how important is all this?? I suppose I could buy one new rocker and have him try to match it. I'm probably worrying about nothing -- however the tractor is a 460 Hi Utility, not many made, not as valuable as say, an MTA, but I would like to do this one right.
