It is not that hard to set them even with my old eyes just get the cam set in the middel of the points ware pad and set them to a light pull as to where the points don't move when you pull the feeler gauge out then lub the ware pad with some grease all done then set the timming and check you machanical adv. to make sure it is doing it's job. And when was the last time you adjusted the valves??? I get them old gasser running like a singer sewen machine .
