How long has it been since it was apart for TA work the last time? The bearing probably won't cost mutch, but...like others, is this all you will fix, no matter what? To fix the complete TA it takes a double split, and you will probably end up putting in a lot of parts like clutch, pressure plate, live power tube out of the pressure plate, TA clutches (both direct and overrunning) and possibly even more parts while you are in there. If you are thinking of doing it yourself, get a shop manual (IT or Blue Ribbon) and study what all needs to be done. It is not terribly difficult, but does take time, patience, and the equipment to do the double split. I would suggest pricing out the parts I mentioned plus any others that have been suggested and go from there.
