TAKE THE BYPASS TUBE OFF THE TOP OF THE VALVE COVER AND SEE IF A LOT OF AIR IS COMING THROUGH. IF SO, THE RINGS ARE BAD. DO A COMPRESSION TEST AND SEE IF THEY ARE IN SPEC. IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH COMPRESSION, THE ONLY THING ELSE IS THAT THE CARB IS SET TO RICH AND YOU NEED TO TURN IN THE SCREW ON THE BOTTOM-FRONT OF THE BOWL.
