There is some stuff in the archives about this -- you might check. No, IMO, there is no need to pay labor, if you have time to do it. Easier to remove the gas tank first, as I did on my C, the SC has more clearance under the tank, you may be able to get it out. Case-IH sells a kit, mostly gaskets and seals for $90, haven't bought one lately. Disassemble, clean put new parts in. I believe the kit has a diagram in it, without one I would be lost, as my memory is gone (never had one to begin with). I always get the operator's, parts, and service manuals before I try anything. The procedure is not that hard, once you get it off.
