samray. dont mean to offend anyone. you are asking an honest question and it deserves an honest answer.we need a more revealing explanation to what is going on with your engine. hard to get started.and what color and how heavy if its smoking. the gas is defiately getting past the rings, but it could be from when you are trying to get it started also ,if its hard starting. by running a compression test and it comes out ok you can rule out the meachical side.when you check the ignition,proper plugs and checking for spark and thats ok , you can rule out the ignition. then go to the carb.also a factor could be how long you have had this problem and a little more history..its hard to tell what is wrong until it can be evaluated.keep us posted
