This is an extremely long shot. Go into DOS, type the letter of your CD drive, see if you can find the directory that the .exe file is in. And type the name of the file -- see if it runs. Took a long time to wean myself off of DOS, I still look for things there, even though XP doesn't need it, unless someone still uses DOS programs.
