I've got a 560G that is turning 85hp at stock RPMs. The head on mine is off of a c301 (like a 806) and has been shaved, ported and polished. I am also running a set of alluminum roller rockers with "offset" stands to give longer duration and clearance. There are no modifications to the lower end whatsoever. I would say that if I were to turn the RPM's up to 3000, it would push 90 pretty easily. As for a diesel, I'd say if you were to turn up the go juice on it to the max, you'd get to 80 pretty easy. To get much over that, I'd have to say you'd need a turbo. There's only so much air a naturally aspirated diesel can suck to burn that much fuel. A 560D just doesn't move that much air without the aid of a turbo... Bill
