hi red dave, just an idea and i may be as full of stuff as a christmas turkey, but if your going to build the hay wagon, how about using a 6 lug trailer axle on the rear of the wagon,with electric brakes ? the battery could be hidden under the wagon in a small box, and the electric controller could be attached within reach of the tractor seat, painted red, all but the purist wouldn't notice that something "extra" had been added, and you would have plenty of brakeing power if needed, you would have to occasionally put a charge on the battery . just an idea, ericlb
