adding live hydraulics to Farmall H

I am planning to add live hydraulics to my H. I have figured out how to mount the pump, but I have a couple of questions I would like to submit to the group about the rest of my plans: 1) I am going to use the original Lift-All reservoir. For the intake to the Live pump, I am going to use a 90 deg street elbow screwed into the drain plug opening on the Lift-All. I intend to weld a short nipple onto male end of the elbow, so that it doesn't pick up any debris that may accumulate in the bottom of the reservoir. 2) I am planning to plumb a standard 2 way hydraulic valve into the Lift-all fill pipe, using a tee and nipple, then adding another short nipple for the Lift-all fill cap. I am going to attach a rod similar to the regular Lift-all rod to the handle on the 2 way valve to operate it from the tractor seat. I am assuming I will have to fabricate a strap or something, maybe connected to the fuel tank stud, to brace the valve. 3) Do I need a pressure relief valve, or is one built into the std. 2 way valve? It is my understanding that there is--I may have to adjust it to 1000 lbs? 4) Can I leave the regular Lift-all gears and pump intact and continue to use it? I am currently using 20W non-detergent in the reservoir. Is this ok for use with the live pump also? 5) I am putting an in-line filter on the reservoir-to-live-pump hose. I am not planning to use the hydraulics for general things like raising mowers, planters, maybe light loader work. Thanks for taking the time to read my rather long post.
