Get that tube on the upper seat arm as clean as you can on the inside, then take some cup grease and lube the inside as well. Put the cup grease on the outside of the long rubber bushing too and it will push all the way in, if you turn it as you go.

Then, on the little side bushings, I used a "greased" putty knife as a 'shoehorn' to make the thing slide down into place between the two ears of the yoke.

Took some wigglin', as it is really a tight fit, but they will go in there.
