If you are going to be serious about pulling then you need to look for an 8043? head because it will give higher compression=more horsepower. You can also install higher compression pistons, use the head you have and see an improvement, or you can have the head you have milled down to get better compression. The list goes on and on and the further you go the faster the dollars fly out the window. Do a good job of rebuilding what you have and you will still have a bunch of fun at the pulls, you might be surprised at how well you do.
