Tractor Vet/egr-IA, 1466 gear teeth in rear

Thanks for posting with ideas about where the gear teeth I found in the rear case came from. I have been through the transmission, the rear-end and the PTO. The only gear I could find that measured the same width as the gear teeth I found was the drive gear on the front power steering pump. I believe the pump had been replaced and the gear teeth left in the bottom of the transmission.

Even though I didn't find a broken gear I found plenty of other stuff to fix, which doesn't surprise me. This old girl was about wore out before I became the proud owner. Gotta love it.
