When operating an H with a 7' mower bar my old man would have had my *** then my head if I only mowed 20 acres in day. With 7 brothers there was plenty of other "operators" to take over for somebody that wasn't cutting it, and plenty of shovel work for that person when they got off the tractor. Then you had to listen to him tell you story about how he could do it faster with horses then you could with a tractor. So I guess some people are just more prone to get something done with the right motivation. I do agree that the price on the 300 is a kinda high, especially for one that needs work.
