Experoment first.Sometimes simply turning and tilting them in just the right way will let them slide into place.You DO NOT have to pull the belt pulley,although it may be easier,you can simple remove the front two bolts on the clutch cover and loosen as much as possible the rear ones,pry up on the front of the cover on the starter side just enouhg to get it in.There is one bolt directly under the starter that will need to be in a posistion to make it easier to get in with the starter on top of it,youll fiqure out what I mean.I just simply used a shorter bolt and that wasnt a factor.
