The battery is in a marine battery box.I also have a master disconnect on the negative side inside the box.When I first saw a battery sitting between where my legs would go I freaked out.No way I was going to sit behind a battery that could spill acid/explode uncontained.The battery box also keeps the post from accidentally shorting against the dash.I run rubber post covers even though its inside the box. The battery is a NASCAR Select,and cranks with authority even when below zero.I have reapplied the shift diagram and warning decals atop the box cover.
