I guess you would start at the begining. New plugs? Plug Wires? Coil Wire? Then points and condenser,Points set at .020 at high side of cam that opens them. Then Timing ,Fuel supply, Timing order is cast in block for distributor and firing but its still 1234 on engine front being 1 and rear most being 4 . Do you have a good fuel Supply to bowl of carb? Just a few things I have owned Hs and Ms for 30 years and worked on alot of neighbors also Things can go wrong but I would check the list above .. JON
