We had a 6788 for four years up until last summer and it was a good tractor. They don't have anything in common with a 5488 except the cab. We made a few small repairs to it (water pump, hydrualic hoses ect.) and we put a clutch and TA in it before we sold it. The 6788 was rated at 170 hp but due to their weight balance and amount of rubber on the ground they will easily pull with a 200 hp tractor. We replaced our's because we needed a powershift transmission and better hydraulics but we were sad to see it go.
