Oh, couple things. Steve was correct. It is an Echlin and an IC-7. This is for an external mount coil. Noooow, then ifn you want to get the real deal.... as MagMan who is a regular contibutor to this here forum. He rebuilds the J-4 Magneto and has access to the real McCoy. I am assuming that your Cub comes equipped with a Magneto. If it doesn't, and is equipped with the Battery Ignition, then the coil is an external coil that mounts above the distributor. The IC-7 should be compatible.
