What was the power output of the Electrall? Today, something like that would be considered wayyy obsolete. With portable gas powered generators that are far more fuel efficient than a 4 cylinder tractor running all day long...and with efficient power inverters (12V to 110V),that huge thing hanging off the side/towed behind a tractor just isnt needed anymore. But in the day,I am surprised it wasnt more popular...because back then, they didnt have the modern,hi-tech conveniences of modern electronics. There just wasnt many choices other than an Electrall.I guess rural electrification was good enough for the farmers....not much need for backup.
