Here in Ireland Gas (petrol) sells at about 97 cent / litre, and thats Euro cents so in US dollers you'r talking about 1.15 pet litre! Road diesel is a little cheaper at about 93 cent a litre, and agricultural diesel (Tax rebated and dyed green so the customs can check if your using it in your car or truck) sells about half of that. Haas is correct, about 70% of the cost of a litre go'es in Tax to the Government. Mainland European countries are even dearer, Denmark Sweden France etc. Politicians there will tell you that you got to pay for excellent health services somehow..... Cheers, Nigel.
