scarce 786 value

A friend of mine is thinking about trading or selling his 786 and was wondering what to ask. Now normally I look up the blue book price and go by that, but in this case with one so scarce [only something like 330 made] I"m not sure how to advise him. I was wondering if anyone had seen one sold recently and what it brought?
