Kevin, are there any tractor shows coming up in your area any time soon? Not trying to pick on you, please don't take it that way, but if you could talk and visit first hand with some of the guys that grew up on an H you would gain an education that will never be printed in any book. Maybe there is a club you could join? Please don't give up asking questions here, it's just that a proper diagnoses is almost impossible in these forums, all we can do is make suggestions. Hang in there, that ol' girl will be purring like a kitten soon.

Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
