A couple thoughts came to me as I read the replies. On the 560’s that I have had, there is a depth stop on the lever that you move to raise and lower the two point hitch that is used for operations like plowing or cultivating that will stop the lowering of the hitch in the same place. There is a button in the center of the knob that when you push it in, you can go past this stop to a lower position. This stop is adjustable with the large knurled screw towards the bottom of the plate the two point lever runs against.

It that is not the problem, there originally was a screw at each end of the two-point lever travel to limit the travel. Try adjusting the screw so that you have more travel for lowering the two point. On this same line, I had a 560 once that the plate were these screws was in would rotate putting it sometimes out of position. This occurred especially when I “slapped” the lever down to raise the two-point a lot, causing the plate to rotate and slowly raising the level where the implement raise to. I wouldn’t notice it until the system would continue to “hunt” because the cylinder was at the end of its travel, but the tell-a-depth was still trying to raise the hitch.

It is also possible that something is whacky in the tell-a-depth valve itself, but I’d try the above first.

As far as the loader not lifting the front of the tractor, is he using the tractor hydraulics or a PTO pump for the loader? If he is using the tractor hydraulics, there is a setting for either single or double action on the remotes. These are located below the steering wheel about 6 inches up from the top of the transmission. If memory serves me right, a 9/16” wrench will fit the “flat” part of these and you can turn them about 60 degrees. There may be decals on the metal cover that will have a S for single and a D for double. Rotate them in the direction of the D as far as they will go and try it. On mine I have to back them up a bit towards the S or the system will start “hunting” but you may not have to.
