I feel your pain. My steering pain got so bad on my 240U that I finally took it to a tractor place for a look and possible work. (This, after nearly putting the front bucket through the side of the garage when the steering refused to respond in less than about 9 spins of the "Wheel of Fortune".) Don't have an estimate yet but I am already feeling kind of queer and puckery in the vicinity of my wallet. May have to pull my daughter out of college, but-- hey -- a man's gotta have his priorities straight to make it through this life intact. Gotta lotta snow up here in New Hampshire right now! I'll let yall know how things progress...IF I go ahead with it. Dave D
